This blog is empty. Completely empty. The whole thing is honestly just a proof of work. It might not even be a blog, but a rework of the website.

The motivation mostly comes from the idea of the indie web. Specifically, small simple websites that interlink. My existing website, enbyss.com, technically counts - but is heavy-duty, including database access and a framework.

This website is also using a framework, however that framework is Astro, built to be lightweight and allowing for static websites. As such, they are meant to be more simplified and hold limited logic, while still providing utilities for code reuse and general organization. Which, I’ll admit, I’ve grown fond of.

As attractive as a prospect that raw HTML/CSS/JS is, the foundation would take a pretty long while to work on, and the thing could very rapidly become a pain to manage, or work, or modify, or evolve.

Anyways. This page has basically nothing but this in it. It’ll slowly grow. We’ll see where it ends up.
